U.D.C. CROSSES TO BE
BESTOWED ON VETERANS
Public Invited With Special Invitation to
Daughters of Confederacy
The public is
cordially invited to be present at the bestowal of U.D.C.
crosses on world war veterans, who are descendants of Confederate
veterans in the district court room, second floor of the Falls county
courthouse, at eight o'clock tonight.
"Every daughter of the Confederacy is invited to be present to show that this
body of patrriotic women appreciates the world war veterans," states Mrs. W. W.
Turner of Webster, who will confer the crosses.
Judge H. F. Kirby of Groesbeeck , a native of Marlin, who served over seas
during the world war will deliver an address. He will be introduced
by Terry Dickens. Rev. F. P. Goddard will give the invocation and music
for the occasion will be given by A. E. Scheef's Jolly Boys Band of Perry.
