LARGE CROWD EXPECTED
TO MAKE TEMPLE TRIP
Falls County Day Will be Observed
at Experiment Stations
Near There.
Indications are that a large delegation will make the tip Monday to the Texas
agricultural experiment station and federal soil erosion station near Temple
where Falls county day will be observed, states Dan Clinton, county farm agent.
Visiting a number of points over the county
this week in the interest of the trip, the county agent says he has received
assurance that the county will be well represented.
Farmers, business men and others interested
residing on the east side of the Brazos river will assemble at the courthouse in
Marlin at eight a. m. Monday. En route they will be joined by delegations
at Lott at 8:30 a.m., Rosebud at nine a. m. and Barclay at 9:30 a.m., while
their numbers will be swelled by parties attending from the northwestern part of
the county.
Lunch will be served at the experiment
stations at a nominal price and the county agent requests all who can do so to
let him know of their intention to make the trip in order that proper
preparations may be made for them.
