-----
Gravel hauling on Marlin's street improvement project put $597.60 in circulation
last week. Checks for that amount were issued by the city, representing
830 yards of gravel placed on streets at 72 cents per yard.
Restricted to local residents, the work has
provided employment for a number of Marlin men.
Gravel haulers got in only five days last
week, the city suspending work Saturday for the July 4 holiday.
