ROSEDALE WINS SEVERAL
PLACES AT COUNTY MEET
Students of School Have Delightful
Picnic and Easter Egg
Hunt.
We are very
proud that Rosedale school won several places at the county meet. Mary
Scroggins won first place in junior declamation and Emma Woliver won first place
in senior declamation. We certainly hope we will win at the district meet.
We won in a few more events.
Mrs. and Mrs. Matthews of the Presbyterian church visited our school Thursday.
So we had the pleasure of hearing him sing.
We also had a large picnic and an Easter egg hunt. We all met at Fish
creek, we were joined by many parents and friends. After lunch we played
many games, and then we played baseball. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
We are preparing to have a program at the close of school, so we are working
very hard.
Mrs. Watkins was absent Tuesday on account of the illness of her mother in law,
Mrs. N. R. Watkins of Lott.
