BUSINESS AND PROGRAM MEET HELD FOR AUXILIARY
Women of Presbyterian Church Hear
Reports of Officer and Secretaries.
Members of the Woman's Auxiliary of the First Presbyterian church held a
combined business and program meeting at the church Monday afternoon at four
o'clock.
Called to order by the president, the session opened with the song, "The
Church's One Foundation." Mrs. W. H. Matthews conducted the prayer circle.
Devotionals were led by Mrs. W. F. McKinley, "The Sure Foundation" being the
theme. She was assisted by Mesdames A. H. Snead, H. H. Robertson and J. J.
Gallaher with closing prayer by Mrs. H. S. Garrett.
Followed a business session, featured by reports of officers and secretaries
of causes. The visiting committee was appointed.
Mrs. O. R. DeFord was in charge of the program, being assisted in its
presentation by Mesdames H. H. Kirkpatrick, J. H. Barnett and W. H. Matthews,
while Mrs. L. A. Robinson gave the concluding prayer.
The auxiliary adjourned with Mizpah benediction.
