PLANTS MORE SUDAN GRASS
TO INCREASE HIS PASTURE
Falls County Farmer Also Intends
to Raise Plenty of
Feed Stuff
"I think I will
increase my pasture next year with more sudan grass so I can turn in on one
patch at a time, and perhaps some other kind of grass." T. L. Hayes,
Kosse, route 1, advises Dan Clinton, Falls county farm agent. Mrs. Hayes
also is planning plenty of feed stuff.
He has 35 acres in his pasture with plenty of water but has to draw it.
It had bermuda and some wild clover and rescue in it. He also had two
different patches of sudan grass.
The pasture has two cross fences and plenty of good shade with not many weeds.
It was pastured with six mules and eight cows during the year.
