PERRY CLUB WOMEN MAKE PLANS FOR ANNUAL
FAIR
Interesting Report on Green Grape
Demonstration Recently Heard.
To The Democrat:
The Demonstration Club of Perry had their regular meeting at the Farmers
Community Hall. The meeting was opened with the club prayer after which the
club pledge was said.
It was decided not to send delegates to the Short Course this year but plans
were made to send a large group next year.
Mrs. John Sandner gave an interesting report on the green grape demonstration
which was given by Miss Mayme Lou Hayden on June 20.
Most of the business at this meeting concerned plans for the annual Community
Fair which will be held at the Farmers' Hall on July 22 and 23. This year
the demonstration club will have charge of the "eats" in the building
and several more attractions. Plans are made to make this the best fair
ever. Besides the usual pies, cakes, doughnuts, sandwiches, etc. barbecued
lamb will be an added feature on the first afternoon. In addition there will
be several other new attractions this year and we invite everyone to come.
