MISTRIAL DECLARED IN
HEARING OF LIQUOR CASE
Second Such Jury to be Discharged
Same Day Unable to Reach
Verdict.
Unable to reach a verdict, the jury in the case of Augustus
Cherry, charged with illegal possession of intoxicating liquor, was discharged
by Judge Dodson in Falls county district court about 8:30 o'clock Monday
night.
This was the second liquor cae in which a jury had been discharged after being
unable to reach a verdict during the day.
Members of the jury in the Cherry case were Allen Jones, (J) M. J. Waits, J. W.
Cosburn, T. White, A. H. Puddy, T. A. Rogers, W. (O.) Bland, Robin Rogers, M. M.
Allen, W. A. Crites, T. A. Powers, Rudolph Newman.
