Plans for
Martha's Style Revue which will be held this evening, June 3, at 8:30 o'clock in
the Sun Room at the Hilton are complete. In addition to the showing of the
latest styles and fashions an exceptionally good program, including musical and
dance numbers, has been arranged. The revue will be held in a setting and in a
manner entirely different form the usual type of style shows.
Among those who will model the new styles are Misses Imogene Langford,
Virginia Barganier, Mercedes Fannin, Sally Seymour, Corene Lebrecht, Odessa
Johnson, Mary Louise Glass, Dorothy Tisdale, Billie Lee, Laura Lee
Hampshire, Nina Frances Denning, Lida Pierson, Eva Suttle, Evelyn Phillips,
Oleta Goolsby, and Marjorie Landrum, and Mesdames Edgar Keeling, Barnes
Adams, Bobbie Reed, Clint Slover, Maude Horne, Fannie Walters and Caroline
Kemper.
"It will be an evening of entertainment everyone will enjoy and an
opportunity to see the latest trends in the new fashions," said Mrs. Martha
Putman of Martha's Style Shop today. "We are extending an invitation to
everybody in Marlin and surrounding communities. There will be no charge for
admission, and we are expecting a large attendance."
