LIMESTONE DECLINES to
GRANT OTTO TERRITORY
County Board Had Been Asked to
Acquiesce in Plan to En-
large District
-----
Limestone county's school
board has declined to acquiesce to a petition from the Falls county board that
the Otto school district be permitted to add to its area about 2200 acres of
more than 3000 acres of the Ben Hur school district located in Falls county.
The land affected formerly was in the
county line Oklahoma district which was consolidated with the Ben Hur district
several months ago.
The Limestone board's position was
represented as being that a large school has been erected in the Ben Hur
district and the entire district is needed to support the school in taxation.
