Get Degrees From Baylor

Reagan Student Accorded Honors at
Annual University Commencement.

Three Marlin high school graduates, Mary Beth Norwood,
Lillian Roberta Forbes, and Earle Coone, received A. B. degrees at annual
commencements exercises of Baylor University, Waco, Wednesday.
Miss Norwood leaves June 10 for Spain where she will study in the University
of Madrid.
Among honor graduates of Baylor this year was Hubert D. Dunham of Reagan, who
received A. B. and law degrees with mention for forensic honors as a member of
the university debating team.
Dr. W. B. Bizzell, former president of A. and M. College of Texas and now
president of the University of Oklahoma, made the commencement address, while a
message from the late Dr. S. P. Brooks written prior to his death after it
became apparent he had only a few days to live was read.
