Attend Reunion at (Reagan, Falls)

E. E. Curd celebrated the 83rd anniversary of his birth at his home, Reagan,
Route 1, Sunday. Born August 5, 1848, Mr. Curd has lived in Texas since
1906.
He and Mrs. Curd have been married 47
years, their wedding being solemnized in 1884. She formerly was Miss
Girtie Bowman and is now 69 years of age, having been born February 7, 1862.
Three children are living, C. P. Curd of
Marlin, Mrs. W. W. Garrett of Big Hill and Mrs. W. E. Posey who lives at with
her parents, all of them, together with their families, attending the birth day
observance.
Others present included two grand sons, H. R. Powers and Hardy Barnett, with
their families. Mr. and Mrs. Curd have nine grand children and four great
grand children.
Thirty-five participated in a dinner
featuring the celebration, including Rev. Wiggs of Waco, pastor of the Blue
Ridge church; Isaac Smith, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Coleman, M. V. Bradshaw, R. A.
Brown and Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Delleny of Marlin; H. S. Swinnea of Blue Ridge,
Boyd Garrett of Dallas.
