CLOSING EXERCISES OF
BLEVINS SCHOOL GIVEN
Successful Term Concluded With All
Teachers Being Reelected
Miss McCall's and Miss Stone's pupils presented their program Thursday evening,
May 14, which was the closing exercises for Blevins school. The program
was composed of three numbers: "Return of the Unfaithful Lover," "Hobo
Drill" and "Rose of the Riley's."
"The Return of the Unfaithful Lover" was a
three act musical pageant in which many pretty costumes were worn and in which
the most popular songs were sung. The "Hobo Drill was a novelty attraction
introducing various types of hoboes.
"Rose of the Riley's," a two act
comedy-drama concluded the program.
School closed May 15, which ended a very
successful school year. All teachers were re-elected for their same
positions another year. They are Misses Elizabeth Cornelison, Abbie Dora
Stone and Leita McCall.
