CHILDREN HONORED WITH
JOINT BIRTHDAY PARTY
Anniversaries of Sisters on Consecutive
Days Inspiration
For Event.
Birthdays of Minnie Irene Geyer, age 7, August 12, and Della Mae Geyer, age 4,
August 11, provided inspiration for a joint celebration of their anniversaries
when their mother, Mrs. Paul Geyer, entertained a group of friends in their
honor Wednesday afternoon from four to five p.m.
Games afforded diversion for the afternoon,
upwards of a score of guests participating.
Centering a table decorated in colors of
pink, white and blue and adorned with cut flowers was an attractive birthday
cake made by Miss Ellen Gardner, inscribed upon which were the names and ages of
the honorees.
Emphasizing the color scheme were
refreshments consisting of pink and white ice cream and blue cup cake served the
guests.
Those attending included Frank Lloyd Lott,
Paul Geyer, Jr., William Frank Lott, Jimmy Lott, Frank Drew Cobb, Dorothy Lil
Cobb, Robert Geyer, William R. Geyer, Rebecca Rose Reed, Bobbie Mae Campbell,
Jesse Rose, Jr., Katie La Verne Reed, Ruby Ruth Ross, Wilbur Ross, Stella Bob
Reed, Floyd Neal, Bettie Ruth Neal, P. A. Lindsey, Jr., Margaret Lee and Elnora
Lee, the latter two being out of town guests from Mart, cousins of the honorees.
