King's Store and Bluhm's Black-
smith Shop--No Insurance.

Perry, Texas, Oct. 17.--At two o'clock th(i)s morning fire was discovered (i)n
King's store. The building was quickly consumed and the flames quickly
communicated to Bluhm's blacksmith shop which was also destroyed.
The fire occurred at such an unusual hour
that the people were slow in getting out to fight the fire. Neither party
carried insurance on the property.
