TWO OLD CITIZENS PASS AWAY

J. H. Miller, well known
throughout Falls county, died suddenly at the of his daughter, Mrs. J. W.
Storey, at Travis Saturday afternoon at two o'clock.
Deceased complained of a pain in the head;
it was attributed to a cold and no serious importance was attached to it.
Mrs. Storey went to Rosebud and it was there the (sic) received notice of her
father's death.
Mr. Miller was county treasurer of Falls
county for a number of years and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew
him. He was a true, Christian gentleman who entertained only the kindest
thoughts of his fellow-men. He was a citizen of Falls county for thirty
years. He is survived by his wife, to whom he was married more than fifty
years. He leaves a number of children and grand children. He was
near 80 years of age, but remarkably active for one of his years up until the
Grim Reaper called him hence.
The remains were interred at Rosebud Sunday
afternoon at 4 o'clock.
B. F. UNDERWOOD
Died at 12:18 Sunday afternoon at the of his daughter, Miss Kate Underwood, on
Coleman St. B. F. Underwood, an old and highly respected citizen of
Falls county. He was 77 years of age at the time of his death.
He had been in feeble health for several
years and critically ill for several weeks. He was surrounded by members
of his family when the summons came.
The remains were interred at the city
cemetery at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, services at the grave.
