TAILOR'S PECULIAR ACCIDENT.
-----
Paris,Texas--Sam Jarweck, a journeyman tailor employed in Gilbert's shop on
Grand avenue, met with a singular accident. While sitting on the table
working at the trade he struck a match to light a cigarette. A green
celluloid eyeshade pulled down close over his eyes caught fire. Mr.
Jarweck had a heavy suit of bushy hair and was wearing his hat. The
eyeshade was burned almost up before he could remove it.
His hair
was singed all over and his hat was partly burned. Mr. Jarweck was
severely burned and blistered and his face had to be swathed all over in
bandages.
