In the railroad
damage case of James Storey vs the S. A. & A. P. and the T. & P. railway
companies, on trial in county court the jury gave the plaintiff a verdict for
the sum of $200. The case was quite stubbornly contested, the fight being
a three cornered one in which the plaintiff was endeavoring to secure a judgment
against one or both the roads and each road was endeavoring to show that if
there any liability it should rest against the other road.
