Wednesday Social Club.
At
the of Mr. and Mrs. George Frank the warmest hospitality always abounds.
Mrs. Walter Gardner was hostess to the Social Club at this beautiful Wednesday
afternoon, and she being a most pleasing and generous entertainer, it logically
follows that not withstanding the unpropitious (sic) attitude of the weather,
this can truly be classed among the genuinely enjoyable meetings of the club.
The attendance was good. The humor all present was in no way responsive to
the bad humor of the weather, and all proceedings were characterized by good
cheer and lively interest.
Roll call
was responded to with mention of events of current news.
The
charity committee reported having rendered aid to two families in need.
Visitors:
Mesdames Myer London, Dick Jackson.
Refreshments entirely refreshing were served, and the game of 42 afforded the
amusement feature.
