SHERIFF'S SALE NOTICE.
The State of
Texas, County of Falls:
By virtue of an order of sale issued out of
the Honorable District Court of McLennan county, on 24th day of April A.D. 1907,
by the Clerk thereof, in the case of the Scottish American Mortgage Company,
limited, versus Mrs. Angie Gray Norris, Mona Meta Norris, Joseph Canton Norris,
Lottie Eda Norris, Mary Norris and Josephine Oliver Norris, No. 14, 823, and to
me, as Sheriff, directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell for cash, within
the hours prescribed by law for Sheriff's sales, on the first Tuesday in June
A.D. 1907, it being the 4th, day of said month before the court house door of
said Falls county, in the city of Marlin the following described property, to
wit:
Lying and being in Falls county, Texas, and
a part of the James Powell league in said Falls county, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the s w corner of a 150 acre
tract of land out of said Powell league surveyed for J. O. Norris in the s line
of the Powell league from which a P. O. marked "X" brs n 27 w 19 2-3 vrs.
Thence n 30 w 569 vrs to n w corner of said J. O. Norris 150 acre tract.
Thence n 60 e 747 1-2 vrs to corner in branch from which a mulberry marked "X"
brs s 87 1-2 w 2 1-10 vrs. Thence a 30 e 569 vrs to corner in the line of
Powell league from which a P O marked "X" brs n 30 6 vrs. Thence a 60 w
said Powell s line 747 1-2 vrs to the place of beginning, containing 75 1-3
acres of land more or less, levied on as the property or Mrs. Angie Gray Norris,
Mona Meta Morris, Joseph Canton Morris, Lottie Eda Norris, Mary Norris, Mary
Norris and Josephine Oliver Norris, to satisfy a judgment amounting to $928. 30,
in favor the The Scottish American Mortgage Company, limited, and costs of suit.
