-----
Peculiar accident.
A. W. Newmann, the auto man, met with quite an unusual and very painful accident
Friday afternoon.
He was seated on the hearth at his and was stirring up the fire when a cartridge
exploded, the hot shell entering his nostril with such force that it had to be
extricated by a physician.
It is needless to say that the few minutes required to get to a physician's
office seemed to him like hours, as the shell was very slow about cooling off.
