Marlin Teachers Are Plucky.
-----
Misses Pringle and Sanders, teachers in the Marlin public schools, were of the
excursionists to Dallas Saturday night and were on the belated train, which did
not arrive at Bremond until the Marlin train had been gone several hours.
Misses Pringle and Sanders could not
entertain the idea of being out of their places at school on account of such a
trivial matter as a railroad wreck, hence at Kosse, they changed cars, taking an
overland conveyance with Col. Nat Lewellyn as conductor. They arrived at
the school building about 9:30 after a fast drive of 22 miles. It is only
Marlin teachers who would adopt such exertions to meet their engagement with
school duties.
