MARLIN DOGS WINNERS.

Get Awards in All Classes Entered
at Fort Worth.
The judges in the Fort Worth Bench Show have awarded first honors to two Marlin
dogs.
Red Snapper, owned by Earle C. Smith, was entered in four classes and won in all
four, including first prize in winners' contest. He defeated End Cliff
Baron of Pasadena, Cal., whose owner brought him to Fort Worth with confident
expectation of winning every thing in sight. The Baron is a nine-time
winner and only liked (sic) one point of the championship. Clanmoir
Claude, owned by J. W. Gregg, won in three classes and also the winners' class,
capturing a silver cup and a coffee set which were special prizes. He
defeated Mastor Sculpor, never before defeated, and who defeated a $5000 dog
owned by J. P. Morgan of New York.
All of which further demonstrates that Marlin leads, even in dogs.
