John Lucine plead guilty in the corporation court Saturday to a charge of drunkeness and the sum of $12.75 was required to liquidate his indebtness. While being taken to jail Friday afternoon by Marshal Stallworth, who made the arrest, John attempted to make a play, reaching for his knife. The walking cane of the officer got busy then and the prisoner's demonstrations ceased.
