HON. JOHN D. McCALL IS IMPROVING.
-----
Hon. John
D. McCall, formerly comptroller of the state, who has been in Marlin for several
weeks, is improving in health now, which is occasion for pleasure to his
countless friends throughout Texas.
He was
attacked with paralysis in 1906 and for a long while the result was in doubt,
but by careful attention coupled with his strong constitution, he is now slowly
regaining his strength.
John D.
McCall, while in office, which was many years, one of the most painstaking and
popular officials that this state ever had. He is a man of broad views and
extended information and when he says that Marlin has a future of no small
consequence, it is an opinion that is worth something.
