Joe Stinson Loses a Foot.
-----
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Eddins returned Monday afternoon from Bobbin where they were
called on account of the illness of their nephew, Joe Stinson. They report
his condition improved and his worst trouble over.
For several years Joe has attended the
school in this city and lived with his relatives. In February he became
troubled with one ankle which he thought was sprained and was finally forced to
give up his school work and go home. Upon examination it was found that
there was an abscess forming on the ankle bone. It was thought that the
place could be kept open and thus prevent a spread of the trouble, but the
diseased condition grew no better until an operation was performed, taking off
the foot.
