New Officers Elected--Some Im-
portant Rulings--New Chapters.

The following officers have been elected by the Masonic Grand Lodge at Waco:
G.M. W. Master, W. Lee Moore, Wichita Falls; deputy G.M.J.J. Davis, Galveston;
G.S.W.T.S. Frymier; secretary, J. W. Walton; Ayker, Waxahachie; treasurer, B. F.
Frymier; Secretary, J. W. Walton, committee on work, G. F. Morgan, Clarendon;
board of directors Widows and Orphan's home, Anson Rainey, Dallas.
Held that a person leaving the jurisdiction of a lodge does not lose
jurisdiction unless the removal be permanent. The lodge could remit both
dues and fees; that blind Mason who has held junior warden is eligible for
master; held nomination could be made but that nominating speech should not;
Mason expelled for dues must hve unanimous vote on reinstatement. Shriners
could meet in Blue lodge room; officers could not limit during the term of
office; notice of appeal does not prevent motion for new trial at next meeting;
not unmasonic to apply for chapter degrees when under suspension; waiver of
juridiction all necessary to relinquish over one who has received one or two
degrees.
New chapters have been authorized at Mart and Rosebud.

grand Royal Arch captain, A. W. Jordan, Lockhart; grand orator, W. Goodrich
Jones, Temple; grand master third veil, O. E. Scow, Clifton; grand master second
veil, H. W. Smith, Temple; grand master first veil, W. G. Bell, Austin; senior
grand steward, F. B. Boles, Thurber; grand junior steward, John Hughes, El Paso,
grand guard, J. C. Lynch Albany.
