SHERIFF'S SALE NOTICE
The State of Texas, County of
Falls:
By virtue
of an Order of Sale, issued out of the Honorable District Court of Falls County,
on 26th day of March, A. D. 1907, by the clerk thereof, in the case of B. F.
Foster versus Sim Harris and wife Mattie Harris, No. 6812, and to me, as
sheriff, directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell for cash within the
hours prescribed by law for sheriff's sales, on the first Tuesday in May, A.D.
1907, it being the 7th day of said month, before the court house door of said
Falls county, in the city of Marlin the following described property, to wit:
All that certain lot or parcel of land lying nw of the town of Marlin on the
rock dam road, being the same property bought by F. F. Foster from N. Pottka and
wife as shown by deed records of Falls county, Texas, to wit: Beginning at
the s e corner of land deeded by Mrs. Hailey to Sam Houston, at a stake in bed
of spring branch, thence up said branch with its meanderings n 20 e 88 vrs.
thence n 14 e 90 vrs., to the n e corner of said lot conveyed by Mrs. Hailey to
Sam Houston, thence n 79 1-2 w with the s line of the W. D. Kyser gin lot 52
vrs. to stake corner, thence s 51 1-2 w to a stake in the south line of said lot
thence with south line of said lot a 43 3-4 e to the place of beginning, levied
on as the property of Sim Harris and Mattie Harris, his wife, to satisfy a
judgment amounting to $91.68, in favor of B. F. Foster, and costs of suit.
Given
under my hand, this 27th day of March, A.D. 1907.
