ARCHIE GEE CHARGED
WITH BEING DRUNK IN PUBLIC
Archie Gee, a white man, was placed in jail
Wednesday evening on a charge of being drunk in a public place. Gee stated
next morning that jail life didn't agree with him; that as soon as the doors
closed behind him he was seized with a congestive chill and that he was not able
to stand trial. He was given further time to permit his temperature to
become normal before putting him through the mill.
