Adjudged Insane.
Mrs. Nancy
Watson was brought to Marlin Monday night by Deputy Sheriff Watkins on the
complaint that she was insane.
A jury was
impanneled (sic) Tuesday and the woman was adjudged insane and ordered to the
asylum.
On the way
over, Mrs. Watson became very maniacal and attacked the officer, severly (sic)
biting him on the arm. She is a stout woman and the officer and the
woman's husband had difficulty in keeping her quiet.
The
deputy's wound is not of a serious nature though somewhat painful.
