Committee Coming To Marlin
~~~~~
Mr. W. W. Hunnicutt has received a letter from the chairman of the committee on
work of the Masonic Grand lodge, saying that he will call the midsummer meeting
of the committee to convene in Marlin, at a date to be decided upon by the local
lodge. This is an acceptance of an invitation extended by the Marlin lodge
some time since, at the suggestion of Mr. Hunnicutt, who is a member of the
committee.
The committee is composed of five Masons and the
meeting is usually attended by from fifty to seventy five Masons, representing
all parts of the state.
In addition to being of an educational advantage to the
members of the order, which is of prime consideration, the assemblage of this
body will be of value to the town at large.
The committee meeting will be called about the latter
part of May or in June and will be in session three days.
