ARTESIAN WELL.
There is some agitation now favorable
to the sinking of another artesian well, but no definite plans have yet been
considered. That such an enterprise would be of value even to those who have
lease on the supply of the present well goes without saying, as another well
would result in more accommodations for visitors and more visitors. The
possibilities for building up a great health resort here are unlimited, but it
is believed by many that the capacity of the artesian well, while not
diminishing in the least, is not sufficient to warrant much larger drafts than
exist now. Therefore in order to develop the health resort advantages of Marlin,
It is essential that another well be sunk.
