WARREN SWANN INJURED.
Mr. Z. A. McMillan has received a letter
from Dr. Clemons McMillan, in the Philippines enclosing a clipping from a Manila
paper telling of the injury of Warren Swann, who is an inspector in the service
of Uncle Sam. The newspaper reports is (sic) as follows:
INSPECTOR SWANN INJURED.
Word was received at Con (paragraph missing). Swann was taken to Sorsogon
for treatment. The Doctor there stated that the wound was not necessarily
serious but that it would necessitate confinement in the hospital for about
fifteen days. The telegram does not say whether the inspector was shot by
himself or one of his men."
