Friday's Daily.
Mrs. L. W. Goodrich has
returned from a visit to Waco.
Mrs. Mabel Westbrook, is visiting Mr. and
Mrs. T. E. Battle.
Mrs. Geo Frank has returned from a visit to
her daughter at Oak Cliff.
Miss Maggie Hemphill left today to resume
her school at Harmony in Limestone county.
Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Ford left yesterday for
Oklahoma city where they will reside in the future.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Trammell went to Waco
yesterday afternoon where they are the guests of Hon. W. S. Baker and wife.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fannin, Mr. and Mrs. F.
E. Haily, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Fannin nad Mrs. J. M. Kennedy are visiting in Waco.

Mrs. W. A. Brown has
returned to Oklahoma after a visit to her mother, Mrs. Singer. Her mother
accompanied her to Fort Worth.
Rev. Weems Wootton, formerly pastor of the
M. E. church in Marlin is in the city for a few days. Mr. Wootton is now
at Smithville.
Wm. Register, of Austin, a conductor on the
Austin and Northwestern Railway, is in the city for the baths. He has
visited Marlin on former occasions.
Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Ford, of Galveston, are
visiting in the city. Mr. Ford will locate in Oklahoma in a few days,
having resigned his position in Galveston.
Mose L Levy, manager of the Marlin
Sanitarium, went to Calvert yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Garrett, of Calvert,
were among the visitors to Marlin this week.
Mr. W. A. Noble will go to Kansas in a few
days where he will remain for several months.
W. T. Emory, of New York, is in the city.
Mr. Emory is the promoter of the Emory Mill Remnant sales.
O F Hunnicutt left Wednesday for Polk
county where he will assist his brother, R S, in surveying for the T & N O
Railway.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McClellan of Corsicana,
are among the Arlington guests. Mr. McClellan is a prominent attorney of
that city.
The rumor that Superintendent Leroy Trice,
of the I. & G. N would resign has been revived. The report is that he will
go to the Missouri Pacific with headquarters at St. Louis and that he will be
succeeded on the I. & G. N. by L. S. Thorne, of the Texas Pacific. Mr.
Trice refuses to either deny or confirm the report, which lends color to it.
