MR. THOMAS
ARRIVES
-----
Came From Waco And Is Look-
ing Over the Ground.
-----
Will Open Campaign Soon.
-----
Hon, Cullen F. Thomas,
county attorney of McLennan county and a candidate for congress, against
congressman R. L. Henry, arrived in the city at 11:19 Tuesday.
Upon alighting from the train Mr. Thomas
exchanged greetings with a number of friends and acquaintances and proceeded to
the hotel.
He seems but little the worse for the wear
of the rather strenuous campaign in Bell, Coryell and McLennan counties from
which he has just emerged with congressman Henry.
He remaried that he had come down to look
over the ground and would open his campaign to this county in a few days but had
not decided as yet at what point he would deliver his first speech.
Whle here he remarked that he would soon
move his laundry here and live here until June 14th.
