STREET FAIR AND CARNIVAL.
Mr. James R. Taylor informs the Democrat that nearly all the
arrangements are completed for the holding of a street fair and carnival in
Marlin Sept. 15 to 18. These carnivals have proven great attractions where
ever held, bringing large crowds of people together and insuring an increase in
the trade during the carnival.
Among the attractions scheduled are
electrical fire dances, a reproduction of Mt. Pelee in eruption, and the
Jeffries Fitzsimmons fight, to say nothing of the long list of other attractions
that go with the fair and carnival.
Mr. Taylor thinks there'll be no doubt of
the fair being held.
