B. F. Foster of this city, the new
secretary of the Texas Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association reports the
Dallas meeting as one of the best yet held. The organization is a very
useful and necessary one not only for the members but for the public as well, as
one of its purposes is to faciliate the safe handling of dead bodies. At each
meeting an expert funeral director delivers a series of lectures on the work of
the undertaker which are very valuable. The association is composed of the
leading underaakers of the state, in fact embraces about all those who are
licensed and the secretaryship is quite an honor.
