THURSDAY'S DAILY.
Mrs. Mose Levi has
returned from a visit to Waco.
Mr. C. A. Cox, of Durango, mother and
sister were in the city Wednesday.
Dr. J. W. Cook left yesterday afternoon for
Oklahoma where he wil remain for several months.
Mr. J. T. Harris and sister, Mrs. Camerrer,
left yesterday for San Antonio. Mr. and Mrs. Harris will reside in the
Alamo City, that being their home.
A. J. Rich and wife, H. C. Markham and
wife, Miss Margaret Hall and Mr. J. B. Gibbs, of Kosse, came over last evening
to see Murray & Mack.
Misses Mary and Alice Good rich have
returned from a visit to Waco.
Marrero Herring, Esq., of Groesbeeck, is in
the city for his health.
Geo. E. Sanders has traded his farm for
residence property in Waco and will move to that city shortly.
FRIDAY'S DAILY.
Miss Helen Louise Howe is visiting in Waco, a guest of her aunts on Washington
street.
Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Stuart left yesterday
for western Texas where they will reside in the future.
Mrs. Martin, who has been visiting her son,
Mr. F. B. Martin, left for Bryan yesterday having received information that her
little grand child had been injured in a fall.
Dr. and Mrs. Geo. J. Elam have returned
from Washington, D. C., where they attended the meeting of the G. A. R. Dr. Elam
says the attendance was very large and that they had a great time.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fannin, returned last
night from Reagan where they were given a dinner at the residence of Mr. and
Mrs. H. T. Rogers, parents of Mrs. Fannin. The occasion was the first
anniversary of their wedding.
Miss Marie Dale at the head of Curtiss
company is sure to make many friends among our theatre goers. She is
considered to be a perfect lady both on and off the stage.
SATURDAY'S DAILY.
Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Herring were called to the Indian Territory to attend the
funeral of a relative.
Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Durham, of Odds, left
last night for San Antonio and Corpus Christi where they will remain about ten
days.
F. L. Hodges, of Roesbud, was in the city
Friday. Mr. Hodges has disposed of his interest in the Rosebud Furniture
Company and will resume teaching.
MONDAY'S DAILY.
Maj. H. P. Jordan, of Waco, was a Marlin visitor Sunday.
Dan Parker, Esq., of Groesbeeck, spent
Sunday in the city.
H. D. Friely and W. D. Ward, of Mart, were
in the city Sunday.
Miss Jacie Chilton has returned from an
extended visit to Maryland.
F. B. Sanford, of the Santa Fe, who is now
making his headquarters in Marlin, is off on a business trip to California.
W. R. Dupree left Sunday for New Orleans
where he will continue his studies in the medical department of Tulane
University.
C. E. Biles, who was recently manager of
the Telephone Exchange here for a few days, returned to his ome in Sharon,
Tenn., Saturday. J. A. Chambers, of Dallas, is in charge of the exchange
temporarily.
