SHERIFF’ S SALE
(Real Estate)
By virtue of an order of sale
issued out of the district court of Texas, Falls county
Texas. I have levied upon this, the 8th day of February 1904 and
will, on the 1st day of March 1904, it being the first Tuesday of said month,
between the hours of 10 o’clock a. m., and 4 o'clock p. m, in front of the court
house door of said Falls county, sell to the highest bidder, for cash in hand,
all the right, title and interest which W. T. Fannin, M. M. Fannin, ,J.
W. Christian, James
Shivers, J. W. Shivers, H. F. Moore and D. S. Arnold or either of them
had on the 1st day of March 1899, or at any time thereafter, of, in and to the
following described property, to-wit First tract, known as the Fannin hotel lot
and used for hotel purposes and described by metes and bounds as follows,
to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of Falls and Live Oak streets; thence
running east with the south line of Live Oak street 120 feet to Chester Alley;
thence south along said alley 150 feet to stake for corner; thence west parallel
with Live Oak street 120 feet across said lot to the east line of Falls street;
thence north along the east boundary of Falls street to the place of beginning.
Second tract, known as the livery stable lot, described by metes and bounds as
follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the west line of Chester Alley which is
150 feet from its intersection with Live Oak street; thence south with the west
line of Chester Alley 88 1-2 feet to Kings N. E. corner;
thence west along King's north line to the east line of Falls street; thence
north with said line of Falls street. 88 1-2 feet to the S. W. corner of said
hotel lot, a point 150 feet south from the intersection of Falls and Live Oak
streets; thence east parallel with Live Oak street and along the south line of;
said hotel lot to the place of beginning the above property is
levied upon, and will be sold to satisfy a judgment; rendered in the district
court of Falls county, on the 12th day of January 1904, in favor of B. C. Clark
and against the said W. T. Fannin and M. M. Fannin for the sum of eleven
thousand seven hundred and thirty- eight dollars and fifty four cents,
($11.738.54) principal, with interest at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum from
January 12th, 1904 and the further sum of thirty one dollars and sixty cents
($31.60) costs, and all costs, accruing by virtue of said suit.
