SOUTH MARLIN PRECINCT.
The democrats of South Marlin met at the appointed time in response to the call
of Chairman F. E. Smith and was organized by the election of Alex Frazier
chairman and Prentice Oltorf secretary.
On motion, C. G. Cooley, A. W. Eddins, W. A. Patrick
and W. A. Powell were appointed a committee to suggest delegates to the county
convention.
The committee reported the following who were elected:
W. A. Oltorf, C. G. Cooley, H. O. Bargainier, O. A.
Bargainier, A. R. Wright, L. B, Herron, W. A. Patrick, W. A. Powell, A. W.
Eddins. F. E. Smith, Prentice Oltorf, Alex Frazier, G. A. King, R. L.
Stallworth, F. F. Green, M. J. Fairy, W. T. Price, I. J. Pringle, J. D. Oltorf,
J. C. Holloway.
On motion of W. A. Patrick the delegation goes
uninstructed and without the invocation of the unit rule.

Very little interest was showing in
either convention there being less than a dozen at either one. The small
attendance was probably die to a busy day and the absence of any contest.
