JOHN ROAN'S PRAYER.
"Our heavenly Father, I
have bowed before You today to give You thanks for sparing my life until this
moment.
"O, our heavenly Father, go with me in this
trying moment. Heavenly Father, You know my heart, please go with me.
"Oh, Lord! O Lord! Look over my dear
old mother, and relatives. Go with my brother and sisters. Stand by
them. O Lord! O Lord! O Lordy! O, Lordy! Go with me now. Stand
by the dear friends that tried to help me. Bless those friends. O,
Lord. O, Lord have mercy upon these people.
"O, Lord! Thou hast moved mountains
and thou hast stopped rivers. Thou hast said You would be with your people
in the hour of trouble. Now O, Lord, be with me.
"O, Lord! O Lord! I am going to leave
in a few minutes. Have mercy O, Lord, and save me.
O, Lord! O Lord! Have mercy--have
mercy.
AMEN
