A PROHIBITION CALL.

The state convention of the
prohibition party for the nomination not a candidate for governor, and for other
state officers, is hereby called to meet in the city hall at Waco, Texas, at 10
o'clock a. m., Tuesday August 23; 1904. Each county in the state is entitled to
send five delegates at large, and one additional delegate for every twenty-five
votes, or a majority fraction thereof cast for George W. Carroll for governor in
1902. In counties where no party organization exists, Individual prohibitionist
should at once send their names to the secretary as delegates, and they will be
enrolled up to the number apportioned to the county.
National Secretary Tate, "Cyclone Davis," W. A. Brucker
and other noted speakers will be present. A great time is expected. Let all
prohibitionist attend either as delegates or visitors. Correspond at once with
me.
