Otto Items.
The Consumers Oil Co., of Waco, has lumber
on the ground (i)n Otto to build a seed house.
Dr. Baird adn Johnston report a good deal
of sickness in their territory.
We have begun to realize our awful
condition with no corn, no hogs, no money, but little cotton and an abundance of
boll weevil. There is no doubt but that this is the best time in years to
practice economy.
Will Barton and wife, of McClanahan,
visited at A G Walton's Saturday and Sunday.
Rev. J J Davis, of Lott, filled his regular
appointment at Hope Sunday to a small congregation.
John Moore, of the Indian Territory, paid
us a short visit this week.
I heard Saturday evening that Richard Finn
has bought the Levy place in this community consisting of about 550 acres.
