MAD DOG SCARE.
The town was treated to a mad dog sensation at Saturday morning.
A strange dog appeared on the streets and
began fighting every dog he came in contact with and very soon a small army of
people armed with shot guns, pistols and target rifles were after him.
The canine supposed to have hydrophobia,
was not killed until he had attacked half a dozen dogs and rounded up under the
Savas hotel. Mr. Xydias got out his 45 and laid the dog low with a couple
of shots.
The remains of the dog were confined to the
bone yard.
