LOYAL
TEMPERANCE LEGION
~~~~~
The L. T. L. held its regular meeting
Sunday afternoon in the First Baptist church at 3 p. m. This little band
continues to grow steadily.
Lesson for the evening, "Beer and the body".
Report of treasurer for six months was as follows:
Number of members enrolled, 102; amount dues paid
$5.00; number of lesson manuals, 21; number of badges given, 87; number of
birthday cards given, 2.
The agent for "The Younger Crusader" reported fifteen
subscribers.
The teaching of this Legion is a power in educating the
children in forming correct habits. Their weekly training will give us, in the
coming days, a glad fruition of our earnest expectations, when this unrighteous
king (alcohol) who now holds unlimited power will be dethroned.
