Mr. J. Q. Barnes who
has been with his son in Marlin for some time has returned here and bas been
quite sick this week.
The Methodist
church is having pews made, and will, in a short time, install them in the place
of the chairs they are now using.
Mr. J. G. Evans
our leading produce man, shipped this week a solid car of eggs to the Northern
markets. Who says hens are not revenue producing property.
Rev. S. Levy, of
Waco, in the presence of a gathering of relatives and friends, who had assembled
at the hospitable of B. M. Goodman, performed the rite of circumcission on the
infant son of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Goodman, in accordance with God's precepts to
Moses.
