A SPLENDID INDUCEMENT.
~~~~~
Fruit Tree Firm Congratulates League
on Its Movement.
President Allen of the Marlin
business league has received a letter from a prominent and extensive wholesale
fruit tree firm in which they say, in part: "We have been reliably informed that
your league has a plan on foot to buy a car loud of peach trees to resell to
your farmers for the purpose of encouraging the industry. We desire first
to congratulate you in this wonderful and great undertaking, and must say that
it is the best inducement in this line we ever heard of. It will save your
farmers at least $500.00 in the purchase of trees. We are exclusive wholesale,
selling direct to nurserymen at wholesale prices. But were so deeply
impressed with your unique idea and good business plan, that we decided to make
you an offer, stepping aside somewhat from our custom. **
These are exactly the prices we are selling the
nurserymen in your state in 100,000 orders, and we feel sure you will appreciate
these very low prices. We guarantee our trees true to name and free from disease
of every kind. In fact we guarantee every tree to be first class in every
particular. We are financially able to carry out our guarantee and
contract, which is worth something in purchasing trees. Our buds are taken
from prolific bearing peach trees, which is another important thing to consider.
Most nurserymen take their buds from one year old trees."**
