SUPT. HARRIS RESIGNS.

He is Succeeded by H. B. Irwin Of
Palestine.

Superintendent J. T. Harris, of the Fort Worth division of the I. & G. N.
Railway has resigned and the resignation took effect Wednesday. What
occasioned his resignation is not given out, but Capt. Harris had intimated to
close friends that he would probably quit. The first official notice was
sent out from Palestine as follows:
J. T. Harris, superintendent of the Fort
Worth division of the International and Great Northern with headquarters at
Marlin, has tendered his resignation and same has been accepted by the officials
here. The resignation takes effect on October 1. Mr. H. B. Irvin has
been appointed to fill the vacancy and will have his headquarters at Marlin
also.
It is not known what "Capt. Jack will do.
During his residence in Marlin he has made many friends and has shown a very
liberal disposition toward Marlin.
