Goes To The Pen For Life Term

The Court of criminal appeals has affirmed the case against Joe Gibson, appealed
from this county.
Joe was convicted at the January term of
the district court on a charge of murdering his wife Kate Gibson.
The deed was committed in the western part
of the city and was a particularly atrocious and bloody one.
Gibson after inflicting fatal wounds on his
wife calmly dew a razor across his own throat but the wound did not prove fatal
and he soon recovered.
