ABOUT COMISKEY'S MEN.
Comiskey, the master of the White
Sox, has gathered about him a strong array of players. In the team he has some
fine material and with the training organization that is being given them it is
expected that they will do good work in the championship games soon to be played
and for the entire season.
ComIskey was called to New York on business and was
detained there overtime, hence has been delayed in reaching Marlin. ,The men yet
to join the "White Sox", it is understood, are Flaherty, Isbell, Davis, Jones
and Patterson.
"Pat" Flaherty is remebered In Marlin, having organized
a team here last spring.
The "Sporting News" places Comiskey's men for the
season as follows:
Catchers, Sullivan find Berry; pitchers, Altrock,
Patterson, Owen, Daugherty, Walsh, Stricklett and Flaherty; infielders, "Jiggs"
Donahue, Callahan, Clarke, Dundon and Tannehill; outfielders, Holmes, Green and
C. Jones.
